St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School Admissions
Thank you for your interest in sending your child(ren) to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School (SEAS). I invite you to pick up an application at the school office (9539 Racquet Ct., Elk Grove, CA 95758; summer office hours are 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM M-F), or download the form by clicking here.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School serves the parishes of St. Joseph and Good Shepherd, both in Elk Grove. Our first priority for acceptance is for children who have siblings already registered at SEAS including siblings of alumni. Our second priority is to accept children whose families are registered, active parishioners. 95% of our students fall into this category.
If/When an opening occurs (including annual openings in Kindergarten) we use the following priority to accept students into St. Elizabeth:
- Children with siblings attending SEAS.
- Children of active parishioners without siblings at SEAS.
- Any others.
An active parishioner is defined by the pastors as someone who is registered at St. Joseph or Good Shepherd Parish, Elk Grove, contributes to the life of the parish, regularly attends mass at the parish of registry, and financially supports the parish through the offertory collection (using envelopes or checks so that individual contributions may be recognized) and supports any capital/building campaign of the parish. Active or Non-Active Parishioner Status is determined by the pastor of St. Joseph or the pastor of Good Shepherd. If you are uncertain as to your parishioner status (active or non-active) I encourage you to make an appointment with Fr. Peter Bosque, St. Joseph Parish, 685-3681, or Fr. Alfredo Tamayo, Good Shepherd, 684-5722 to discuss your status.
The tuition rate for 2007-08 is $3,350 for the first child of an active parishioner and $4,350 for the first child of a non-active parishioner. Second, third and fourth child discounts are available for children of active parishioners. SEAS also has before and after-school care for an additional cost.
